Terms: Permanent, full time, required immediately
Location: Kelowna, BC
Reporting to: Hardware Department Head

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design of analog/mixed signal printed circuit boards.
• Design of circuits for industrial/aerospace environments.
• Project management of assigned tasks.
• Hands-on debugging and bench level work.
• Technical documentation to meet Transport Canada Requirements
• Avionics development from concept to manufacturing and support.

Skill & Personality Requirements:

• Ability to take responsibility for projects and ensure quality and timely completion.
• Experience with signal acquisition hardware, power supplies, and protection circuitry.
• Experience developing ruggedized solutions for industrial or aviation environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage own time.
• Ability to write clear, concise technical documentation.
• Excellent communication, planning and time management skills.

Additional Assets:

• Experience developing products in a highly regulated environment.
• Knowledge of avionics, the aviation industry and satellite communications.

Education:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering and 4 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
